Struggling to find purpose?

I am actively learning that my purpose is to please God, not man, and not myself. As an Achiever, I like to be busy, to check accomplishments off of my list. Pursuing a ministry partnership, Disciping Servants By Design, has given me a lot of busy work to do and all those check marks have been giving me a sense of accomplishment. But the reality is that my "busy-ness" can not accomplish anything of lasting value. Only God can do that. When I take matters into my own hands, they fall apart. I feel a bit like Abraham walking Isaac up the mountain for the sacrifice. I know that God can make something great out of DSBD. I also know that if my faith is in my work, instead of in my Father, DSBD is better off dead... at least to me.
Father,
Keep me grounded in my faith in You. I know that You are good. I know that You are omniscient. I know that You love me. I know thatYou cause all things to work together for good to those who love You, to those who are called according to purpose. Keep my eyes on You, not on my "mission," but on Your glorious grace. -me
